Aelis Privacy Policy

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:

• Account Information: Email address, username, and profile details you provide when creating an account.
• User Content: Facial data (including portrait photos), scene selections, atmosphere tags, and AI-generated images you create or upload within the app.
• Device & Usage Data: Device type, operating system, IP address, app version, interaction logs, and feature usage statistics.
• Payment Information: Transaction details and payment method references (we do not store full credit card details).

Data is collected through direct user input, automated tracking, and third-party integrations.

Your information is used for the following purposes:

• To generate and process AI-powered portrait scene integration based on your selected tags and photos.
• To personalize your experience, including recommending scenes and atmosphere tags.
• To manage your account, process payments, and send service-related communications.
• To improve our AI models, app performance, and user experience through analytics.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.

To provide our AI-powered portrait generation features, we process Facial Data from the photos you upload. This follows strict compliance with Apple’s Privacy Guidelines:

• Usage & Purpose: Facial data is collected solely to perform artistic style fusion and background integration. It is NOT used for biometric identification, authentication, or advertising.
• Third-Party Sharing: We share your facial data with OpenRouter (Google Gemini) to perform the complex AI computations required for the effect. This sharing is essential for the App’s core AI functionality.
• Retention & Duration:
  • App Side: We do not store raw facial data or facial templates in persistent storage. Photos are processed in memory and cleared immediately after the result is saved.
  • Third-Party Side: Our partner OpenRouter (Gemini) does NOT retain facial data permanently. Data is deleted or anonymized immediately after the transient processing period (usually within seconds). This duration is chosen because it is the minimum time technically required for the AI model's computation.
• No Secondary Use: Neither Aelis nor its third-party partners use your facial data for independent marketing, tracking, or profile building.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: With OpenRouter (as detailed in Section 3) to enable the App’s core AI vibe portrait generation features.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.
• Access controls and regular security audits.
• Secure storage of user content and AI-generated images.
• Incident response protocols for potential data breaches.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access, update, or correct your account information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of non-essential data collection and marketing communications.
• Export your user content and usage data in a machine-readable format.

Our service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
